Résumé 0

‪The article deals with an unpublished source, dated June-September 1907, containing 53 responses by several personalities from France, Germany, Italy, and other European countries, to two questions that Salomon Pozner, publisher of ‪‪La Correspondance russe‪‪ in Paris, submitted to them. They expressed their opinions on Stolypin’s “coup d’état” on June 3 (O.S.) that dissolved the Second Duma. The article first aims to study the respondents’ political, social, and cultural spectrum – their number included such prominent figures as Durkheim, Édouard Vaillant, Vandervelde, Lombroso, Eduard Bernstein, Bjørnson, Anatole Leroy-Beaulieu – to understand how Pozner selected them. The second objective is to analyze the contents of the responses, whose diversity stemmed from the divergence of views on the reality of a Russian constitution, and which reflected the respondents’ opinions on a European future for Russia.‪
