Résumé
My article “The researcher and the discourse of his objects”, published in the 37th issue of Questions de communication, has elicited generous responses that are contributions to the collective intelligence of knowledge in situations. The present sequel takes up the ball and returns to the radical historicism that I defend, confronts it with the history of meta-concepts and the history of the body, and questions its Western-centric character. I clarify my reservations about Reinhart Koselleck's conceptual history, insist on the need to take orders of magnitude into account and, finally, on the importance of disarming the spirit of seriousness.
