Résumé 0

The rapid technological advances that we have witnessed over the past decades are contributing to the development of new therapeutic modalities for young people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). These innovative tools can be used in conjunction with other types of intervention, including pharmacotherapy, in the perspective of a integrated and multimodal treatment plan for the individual. This article presents an overview of current knowledge about various types of technology-based neuropsychological interventions. The most studied interventions for ADHD are presented, namely cognitive training and neurofeedback, in addition to other more recent or less common interventions, such as intracranial stimulation and virtual reality. The text is based on the results of recent meta-analyses to highlight the strengths and limitations of these interventions. By their distinctive characteristics, these interventions not only arouse interest, but contribute to offering flexible and adapted interventions to the population with ADHD. However, new studies with rigorous methodology are still required. Methodological and theoretical avenues are proposed to lead to a better understanding of technology-based neuropsychological interventions and to the improvement of their impact on both the symptomatology of ADHD and the cognitive deficits that are often associated with it.
