Contrairement à ce qui a pu se penser ou se dire, Le Sinthome n’aura pas été le « dernier mot » du « Retour à Freud » de Jacques Lacan. Ce dernier reviendra, avant Le moment de conclure – donc dans son propre temps pour comprendre – sur le maître-mot de la découverte freudienne : l’inconscient. Non seulement pour, cet inconscient, le repenser à nouveaux frais et le renommer, insu, mais pour aller plus loin. Au-delà de l’inconscient : le parlêtre ?Le présent article tente d’établir en quoi, si le parlêtre lacanien n’est pas seulement la condensation de l’être parlant, mais aussi et surtout le terme proposé par Lacan comme substitut à l’inconscient, cette substitution vient parachever tout une série de mises en question, de critiques et de mises en cause, avec des conséquences, encore insoupçonnées – à explorer, donc – sur le corps, l’identification, l’interprétation et la fin de l’analyse

Contrary to what was commonly believed the sinthome is not Jacques Lacan’s “last word” on a “Return to Freud”. He goes back to it before the moment to conclude – that is, in his own time to understand – to the key word of the Freudian discovery: the unconscious. Not just to rethink it at new costs, and rename it insu (unknown), but to go further. Beyond the unconscious: the speaking being ( parlêtre)?The present article seeks to establish how, if the Lacanian speaking being ( parlêtre) is not only the condensation of the speaking being but also, and especially, the term chosen by Lacan as a substitute to the unconscious, this substitution then completes a whole series of questions, criticism and causes, along with still unsuspected consequences – to be explored thus – on the body, on identification, interpretation and the end of analysis.
