Proyecto Qubbet el-Hawa: Las tumbas 31 (Sarenput II), 33 y 34. Quinta Campaña

Résumé En

The present paper describes the research carried out in the site of Qubbet el-haws in 2013. The archaeological works have focused on the excavations of the lowest levels of the funerary chapel, in the south shaft and in the antechamber of the north shaft. The lowest levels are dated to the Middle Kingdom, which also corresponds to an intact chamber. In the south shaft, the remains of two burials partially plundered were documented. Parallely, artifacts found in the north shaft and the chapel indicate that the main burial was plundered short after the sealing of the corridor that connects both rooms. Sarenput III's grave was excavated completely and his painted coffin has been consolidated.
