AnthropoPhiBio is a project aimed to bring together the approaches of anthropology, philosophy, and evolutionary biology. Its purpose is to make a dialogue happen between German philosophical anthropology and current theories on anthropogenesis developed by various disciplines such as paleoanthropology or neuroscience. This project will take shape through the organization of an international and multidisciplinary colloquium inviting researchers in both philosophy and life sciences.The objective is to reflect on the relevance of the concepts developed by philosophical anthropology for the sciences of anthropogenesis and human evolution, and conversely to confront these philosophical categories with contemporary scientific issues. This colloquium continues a fruitful cooperation that already gave rise in 2019 to the international colloquium « The Definitions of the Human » which brought together philosophers, psychologists, paleoanthropologists, and evolutionary biologists.

Le projet AnthropoPhiBio se donne pour but de croiser les approches de l’anthropologie, de la philosophie et de la biologie de l’évolution. Il s’agit de faire dialoguer l’anthropologie philosophique allemande avec les théories actuelles sur l’hominisation développées par diverses disciplines comme la paléoanthropologie ou les neurosciences. Ce projet se concrétise par l’organisation d’un colloque international et pluridisciplinaire conviant des chercheurs et des chercheuses en philosophie et en sciences du vivant.L’objectif est de réfléchir sur la pertinence des concepts élaborés par l’anthropologie philosophique pour les sciences de l’hominisation et de l’évolution humaine et réciproquement de confronter ces catégories philosophiques aux enjeux scientifiques contemporains. Ce colloque s’inscrit dans la continuité d’une coopération fructueuse qui a donné lieu en 2019 au colloque international « Les Définitions de l’humain » qui a rassemblé philosophes, psychologues, paléoanthropologues et biologistes de l’évolution.
