Résumé
This article presents an in-depth study of the composition engraved on the RS 7.120 cylinder seal from Ugarit (Amiet 1992, no. 204), which is exceptional for its richness, the variety of motifs it contains, and the visual techniques used. A new reading is proposed, suggesting that one motif might evoke the theme of an alliance.
