Based on a lab experiment conducted with 161 consumers, this research investigates various display formats (multicriteria scale, overall score, or logo) of sustainability information (environmental and social). The results show a general positive effect of environmental and social sustainability information, but they also highlight some differences according to the format and the nature of the sustainability information provided.
