Both an exhibition catalogue and a presentation of thirty years of graphic research by Pierre Braun, this book is also an experimental publication that seeks to extend the spirit of the works presented. The reader has at his disposal augmented reality recreations that allow him to explore and play differently with the body of new graphic sensorialities.In response to the massive irruption of information, there is currently a craze for graphic technologies that visualize data flows of all kinds and seek to shed new light on world affairs. All these tools that manipulate information material refer us to the first artistic experiments carried out between the 1960s and 1980s, notably those of artists Jasia Reichardt, John Whitney, Lilian Schwarz, Dick Higgins, Kenneth Knowlton, Georg Nees, Frieder Nake, Manfred Mohr, Véra Molnar... My creations are rooted in their works without being assimilated into them. Since the beginning of the 80s, I have been probing and experimenting with the impact of time on our sensibility, on the way we write or draw, on our relationship with computational and graphic machines.

A la fois catalogue d'exposition et parcours de présentation de trente années de recherches graphiques de Pierre Braun, ce livre est également une publication expérimentale cherchant à prolonger l'esprit des œuvres présentées. Le lecteur dispose de recréations en réalité augmentée qui lui permettent d'explorer et de jouer autrement avec le corps de nouvelles sensorialités graphiques.Pour faire face à l'irruption massive de l'information, on assiste actuellement à un engouement pour les technologies graphiques qui visualisent des flux de données en tout genre et cherchent à donner un nouvel éclairage sur les affaires du monde. Tous ces outils qui manipulent la matière de l'information nous renvoient à ces premières expérimentations artistiques réalisées entre les années 60 et 80, notamment celles des artistes Jasia Reichardt, John Whitney, Lilian Schwarz, Dick Higgins, Kenneth Knowlton, Georg Nees, Frieder Nake, Manfred Mohr, Véra Molnar... Mes créations prennent racines dans leurs oeuvres sans pour autant s'y assimiler. Depuis le début des années 80, je sonde, j'expérimente l'incidence du temps sur notre sensibilité, sur la manière d'écrire ou de tracer, sur notre rapport aux machines computationnelles et graphiques.
