Alexander San Francisco Araya et al., « ARCHAEOLOGY AND MEMORY. HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE OF THE FLOR DE CHILE NITRATE OFFICE, TALTALS CANTON », HAL-SHS : histoire, ID : 10670/1.4impqq
Is linked an exploratory investigation about the Taltal nitrate canton, in specific the historical experience of the Flor de Chile office, with the exercise of the social memory in the context of the ex nitrate port of Taltal. From the recognition of the nitrate’s materiality, of files and the voices of the owns pampinos from Flor de Chile, is investigated on the nitrate’s imaginary, which means not only pay attention to what happened, but also in the projections in that this makes sense in the present, expressing in different context and supports, being polysemic and dynamic. In consequence, this work falls inside that we considerate a political archaeology, while looking link the activity properly disciplinary with the social contexts where the historical knowledge is produced and reproduced.
