Résumé
The remarquable model of political action which Habermas constructs by regrounding the universal in pragmatics is somewhat weakened by his functionnalist conception of the media which glosses over the radical contradictions of modern society. It calls for a pragmatic critic that points up, in the refusal of any principle of political judgment (or struggle), a major performative contradiction, indicative of a compromise with social facticity.
