Nous retraçons dans cet article l’itinéraire transfictionnel au long cours d’Elicia, l’un des personnages secondaires de La Célestine, depuis sa première apparition chez l’antiguo auctor (1499) jusqu’à un roman contemporain de Luis García Jambrina, en passant par les six auteurs qui ont écrit les continuations qui forment ce que l’on nomme le cycle célestinesque (1534-1560). C’est le rôle fondamental et probablement insoupçonné de liaison que joue Elicia que nous nous proposons d’analyser, les modalités de la transfiction notamment mises au jour par Richard Saint-Gelais à l’œuvre dans cet ensemble célestinesque, qui permettent à chaque épigone de raccrocher son œuvre à celles qui précèdent et de former un système.In this article, we retrace the long transfictional journey of Elicia, one of the secondary characters of La Celestina, starting from her first appearance by the auctor antiguo (1499) to the contemporary novel by Luis García Jambrina, via the six following works making up the so-called ‘cycle of La Celestina’ (1534-1560). It is the essential and probably unsuspected role of ‘link’ played by Elicia that we propose to analyse, the ways of transfiction, especially brought to light by Richard Saint-Gelais, that are here at work and allow each epigone to connect his own work to those that precede and to integrate it into a narrative system.
