When he started his residency at the Manufacture de Sèvres in October 2016, Emmanuel Boos already had a rich background, both practical with Jean Girel and theoretical through a thesis at the «Royal College of Art » . Lorsqu’il est arrivé en résidence à la manufacture de Sèvres, en octobre 2016, Emmanuel Boos avait déjà un riche parcours, pratique auprès de Jean Girel et théorique au Royal College of Art. Cet article, qui résulte d’entretiens avec l’artiste, montre que cette diversité de recherches et d’expériences est à l’origine d’une vision renouvelée et d’une esthétique contemporaine de la porcelaine.
