The important disparities existing betwen the enzymatic parameters on throroughbreds at rest and after training involve, if the practitionner wants to obtain utilizable informations an early pre-testing for each animal when arriving at training as a two years old-No average level can be retained the individual characters beeing of high interference. Considering the racing condition of thoroughbreds, our opinion is that the testing of erythrocytes, hematocrite, and hemoglobin levels is of great interest. The testing of the enzymatic levels will actually bring rather poor informations except if an individual enzymatic profile has been early realised.

Les niveaux enzymatiques chez le cheval de pur-sang présentent des différences importantes individuellement, au repos et au travail. Cette remarque implique que le praticien doit s’il veut tirer un enseignement profitable de l’analyse, avoir à sa disposition le profil enzymatique du sujet, établi à son arrivée à l’entraînement à l’âge de 2 ans.
