Résumé 0

This article is essentially focused on the place of the search for truth in the criminal trial and the limits of this search in “para-judicial” procedures involving consensual or negotiated solutions of the conflict generated by a criminal offense. Examining the concept of judicial truth in a critical perspective, the article tries to shed light the specificity and the limits of such a search for truth. To this tend, it confronts the concepts of legal, judicial and “para-judicial” truth with the concepts of truth in general and scientific truth in particular.
