Nostalgie on the web: The mise en scène of a golden age of popular variety songs in the post-radio era

Résumé 0

We are interested in the way in which the website of the radio station Nostalgie, as a digital extension, enhances its commemorative dimension by staging an idealized image of the past, between perennity and modernity. In a semio-pragmatic frame, we show that the golden age that can be defined by its congealing, its tagging, its depreciation of the present, and its confinement in the past is staged via an abolition of frontiers (spatial, temporal, and sensitive) and a co-construction that revitalize its object and the initial medium of diffusion.
