Résumé 0

Both society and human beings are evolving at exponential speeds. Health and medicine are following the same path. Digital technology and data are turning our world upside down. Information has become ephemeral, and is shared, but can be inaccurate, incorrect, or fragmented, while knowledge is shifting and evolving, but can be uncertain. Medical journals remain a vital channel for the transmission, validation, and discussion of medical knowledge. They are an essential pillar of the medical community, contributing to the continuous improvement of healthcare and scientific progress in the medical field. Medical journals are both drivers and vehicles for medical innovation. They must, however, evolve and adapt to changes in society, and reinvent themselves in response to medical issues, including those of healthcare professionals and patients, and even new medical trends and themes, such as data, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, transhumanism, and One Health.
