Und bildet die Veränderung von Orts- und Personennamen die Unterschiede zwischen der alteingesessenen und der neuen Bevölkerung ab – zum Beispiel durch die allmähliche Neuerfindung von bestehenden Orten ? Eine Langzeitstudie, die in Damgan im Morbihan durchgeführt wurde, soll über diese Fragen Aufschluss geben.

Un-Naming, Naming, Renaming the Territory : the Cas of Damgan, MorbihanHow do implicit systems of values around names of places and persons crystallize ? And how do the changes of toponyms and anthroponyms reveal the contrasts between the local population and the newcomers, who arrived after the reorganization of spaces associated with the regrouping of lands, the development of building permits and the new local urbanism plan ? This article discusses these questions through the ethnographic case of Damgan, Morbihan, where an extended fieldwork has been conducted.

Comment les systèmes de valeurs sous-jacents aux noms de lieux et de personnes se cristallisent-ils ? Et en quoi la transformation des toponymes et anthroponymes traduit-elle les contrastes entre population locale et nouveaux arrivants, consécutifs aux reconfigurations des espaces liées au remembrement, au plan d’occupation des sols ( pos) et au plan local d’urbanisme ( plu) ? Nous étudierons ces questions à partir d’une longue enquête ethnographique conduite à Damgan, dans le Morbihan.
