Résumé 0

Almost twenty-five years ago, just a few days before New Year’s Eve 2000, France’s forests were ravaged by an unprecedented storm that brought down hundreds of thousands of trees. Charlotte Glinel talks to us about this event, its impact on the work of foresters, and the managerial turnaround at the Office national des forêts (National Forests Office). Beyond that, it discusses how the climate crisis and the fragility of forests have become priority issues for rethinking and changing the way we care for and work within forest spaces.
