The intergenerational and trans-generational transmission of the war experience in Lebanese migrants: the contribution of projective testsBased on the study of a clinical vignette and on the projective data from the Rorschach and TAT tests, this article proposes to stress the salient elements of the projective tests that may shed light on the issue of the intergenerational and trans-generational transmission of the traumatic experience of war. The initial analyses led us to specifically explore the separation/individuation issue, the difficulty of making identificatory choices, the expression of an overwhelming affectivity, a high reactivity to colour and to card I and the fragility of the protective shield function.

Partiendo del estudio de una viñeta clínica y de datos proyectivos de los test Rorschach y TAT, en este artículo nos hemos propuesto de distinguir los elementos marcantes en los test proyectivos que pueden clarificar la problemática de la transmisión intergeneracional y transgeneracional de la vivencia traumática de la experiencia de la guerra. Los primeros análisis nos llevan a explorar específicamente la problemática de la separación/individuación, la dificultad a realizar una elección identificatoria, la expresión del desbordamiento afectivo, la fuerte reactividad al color y a la lamina I, así como también la fragilidad de función para excitación.

À partir de l’étude d’une vignette clinique et des données projectives du Rorschach et du TAT, nous nous proposons dans cet article de dégager les éléments saillants dans les tests projectifs qui peuvent éclairer la problématique de la transmission intergénérationnelle et transgénérationnelle du vécu traumatique de guerre. Les premières analyses nous amènent à explorer de manière spécifique la problématique de séparation/individuation, la difficulté à opérer un choix identificatoire, l’expression du débordement affectif, la forte réactivité à la couleur et à la planche I, ainsi que la fragilité de la fonction de pare-excitation.
