Résumé
According to Habermas’s constitutional patriotism, Europe’s political identity is based on a common political culture, the democratic rule of law. But its asylum policies are increasingly dependent on ethno-cultural criteria. In addition to recognizing the genocide of the Jews, European patriotism must therefore include the memory of slavery and colonization.
