Catherine Coquio, assistant professor in comparative literature at the University of Paris IV, uses the books of Krikor Beledian ( Cinquante ans de littérature en France. Du même à l'autre, CNRS, 2001) and Marc Nichanian (Writers of Disaster. Armenian Literature in the Twentieth Century, London, 2002) to draw up a large panorama of the literary representation (and its limits) of the Armenian genocide.
