"Ancient Slavery and Modern Ideology, by Moses I. Finley, Thirty-Five Years Later". This is an analysis of Finley’s book Ancient slavery and modern ideology, which contains four chapters, the first a historiographical review, the second and fourth an analysis of the factors that established and ended slavery as an economic system, and the third on its relation to humanity.
