This article looks at the Argentinian poet Tamara Kameszain’s literary work through the analysis of her lover’s discourse, which -following Roland Barthes and Julia Kristeva- is a metaphor for the experience of language. Kamenszain’s writing is completely penetrated by this experience of language. Both her poetry and her prose express this experience through the fundamental tension between literature and life, intellect and affect, from where the Argentinian writer positions herself and dialogues with a particular tradition.

Cet article propose un parcours de l’œuvre de la poétesse argentine Tamara Kamenszain (1947-2021) à partir de son discours amoureux. Dans la lignée de Roland Barthes et de Julia Kristeva, le discours amoureux traduit une expérience de langage. L’écriture de Kamenszain, qu’elle soit en prose ou en vers, est pleinement tra-versée par cette expérience dans la mesure où celle-ci contient l’expression d’une ten-sion fondamentale entre littérature et vie, intellect et affect, à partir de laquelle l’écri-vaine argentine écrit et s’inscrit en dialogue avec une tradition déterminée
