Emma Bigé, « Breaking the cycle of violence, transforming the community », Multitudes, ID : 10670/1.704ffb...
Transformative justice operates at least within three interconnected levels: macropolitically, it works toward the abolition of carceral capitalism; micropolitcally, it develops forms of mutual aid to prevent violence; and nanopolitically, it invents a form of grassroot justice to mediate interpersonal relations. These three levels respond fractally to each other and create a sense of community/undercommonality as a precarious, do-it-yourself, constantly reinvented place where we render each other capable to account for what we do to and with each other.
