Résumé 0

The authors present the operating procedure of the CAT, developed in the “three-axis method” explained previously (Simon and Claudon 2018). The authors outline three techniques applied to a CAT protocol: 1/ the method for establishing data synthesis; 2/ the method of the analysis formulas that use the three notation axes; 3/ the method of comparison with developmental normative benchmarks for three age groups (3-4 years; 4-6 years; 6-12 years). This procedure makes it easier to identify the problems projected by the child in his/ her CAT stories and makes it possible to evaluate his/her psychic functioning in reference to his/her age group.
