L’absence du père dans le film El premio (Paula Markovitch, Mexique-Argentine, 2011) constitue non seulement une référence autobiographique et historique (une allusion aux prisonniers politiques et aux disparus de la dictature argentine), mais aussi une métaphore d’une société à la dérive, après le coup d’État de 1976. Ceci est particulièrement clair dans le cas des rapports mère/fille et professeur/enfant.
