В статье исследуются причины, формы и цели обращения к древнегреческому наследию в мышлении и творчестве Велимира Хлебникова, одного из самых типичных представителей модернизма в русской поэзии Серебряного века. Несмотря на высокопарные манифесты, провозглашающие радикальный разрыв с традицией, Будетлянин не спешил «бросать с парохода современности» то или иноe наследие и, в особенности, наследие эллинское, существенно питающее его поэтическую систему путём пародии и «созвучности». В словесном творчестве Хлебникова не только используются авторы классической древности, но и целые пласты древнегреческой философии вступают в своеобразный резонанс с мышлением Будетлянина, опирающимся на пифагорийскую концепцию мира.

The essay investigates the causes, forms, and ideas that prompted the turn to ancient Greek tradition in the thought and works of Velimir Xlebnikov, one of the most characteristic representatives of modernism in Russian poetry of the Silver Age. In spite of the high-sounding manifestos that proclaimed a radical rupture with tradition, Xlebnikov was in no hurry to «throw from the steamship of modernity» any type of heritage, least of all the legacy of the Greeks, which nourished his poetic system by means both of parody and «harmony» . In his verbal creations Xlebnikov used authors of antiquity, and entire realms of ancient philosophy resonate idiosyncratically with his thinking, which rests on the Pythagorean conception of the world.

L’article examine les raisons, les modalités et la finalité du maintien de l’héritage grec dans la pensée et dans l’oeuvre d’un des artistes les plus représentatifs de la modernité poétique russe à l’Âge d’argent, Velimir Xlebnikov. Malgré les grandiloquents manifestes annonçant une rupture radicale avec la tradition, le Futurien n’a garde de jeter l’héritage «pardessus le bastingage du vapeur de la modernité» et tout particulièrement l’héritage hellénique qui nourrit substantiellement son système poétique sous la double modalité de la parodie et de la «consonance». Non seulement les auteurs classiques grecs sont réutilisés dans la création verbale dans une perspective décalée, mais des pans entiers de la philosophie grecque antique entrent dans une étrange résonance avec la propre pensée du Futurien, fondée sur une conception pythagoricienne de l’univers.
