Résumé 0

The links between professional mentoring and burnout have been studied in the literature, partly through the positivist approach, according to which the former is likely to have a positive effect on the latter. It is true that the favorable influence of the existence of a mentoring system has been highlighted, notably through the work of psychoanalysts. Nevertheless, the particular framework of a consulting organization where interpersonal relationships are highly fluctuating can reveal elements of complexity that generate numerous ailments. Through an ethnographic study, we seek to question consultants in order to lead them to adopt a reflexive approach in their relationship to professional mentoring, particularly when they find themselves in a mentee situation.
