Mounir Arbach, « « Une caravane du roi de Sabaʾ à Ḥimā Najrān. Le commerce des aromates en Arabie du Sud au VIe siècle av. J.-C. » », HAL-SHS : histoire de l'art, ID : 10670/1.7johme
The incense trade between South Arabia and the Levant is attested from the 8th century BCE, but few data on the road of the caravans, the halts where they were supplied as well as on the participants. The new inscription published here, dating from the 6th century BCE, attests for the first time a caravan of the king of Sheba passed through the oasis of Najran (today in Saudi Arabia), a hub in the caravan trade.
