Marta López Izquierdo et al., « Migrations and Exils: Migration, exile and Hispanic languages in French-speaking Europe (20th-21st c.) », HAL-SHS : linguistique, ID : 10670/1.7lp7fp
This dossier seeks to advance in our knowledge of the linguistic situation of Spanish and its speakers from the three main French-speaking countries in Europe: France, Belgium and Switzerland. A sociolinguistic look is offered on the historical and social background of Spanish migration in these territories, with each of the authors stopping at 1) an exposition of the migratory movements of Spaniards to the three countries with demolinguistic data contextualised in the historical moment that conditions them; 2) information on the practice and presence of Spanish in these contexts (language policies and language teaching, contacts, intergenerational transmission) and 3) the presentation of corpora that are being elaborated for the study of Spanish in contact with French in these three countries from a double perspective: the structures of the language and the sociology of Spanish in these areas.
