Since I started revising the third edition of Allan Wade’s A Bibliography of the Writings of W. B. Yeats (now to be superseded by a much larger, renumbered version of my own, which has involved my double-checking every single entry in that edition, adding and correcting much), I have found a number of hitherto unrecorded editions of The Land of Heart’s Desire – all unlicensed, if not pirated, US copyright law being what it was at the time.
