En tant que médecins psychiatres et psychothérapeutes dans un centre ambulatoire de soins psychiatriques auquel sont référés les patients migrants d’âge adulte, nous proposons, à travers plusieurs courtes vignettes cliniques, d’évoquer la complexité de la position du thérapeute dans sa relation avec un patient migrant en crise suite à une décision d’expulsion. Loin de vouloir nous engager dans une liste de recommandations, il s’agit avant tout de nous interroger sur les répercussions transféro-contre-transférentielles d’une situation administrative imposée au patient et à son thérapeute, et sur les risques de faire l’économie d’une réflexion psychopathologique du fait d’une injonction à l’agir portée par le patient, et/ou son réseau, et/ou le thérapeute lui-même.

Working with migrant patients in crisis: from the injunction to act out to the return to psychopathologyAs doctors in psychiatry and psychotherapy in an out-patient psychiatric center to which adult migrant patients are referred we propose, through a number of clinical vignettes, to bring up the complexity of the therapeutic attitude with the migrant patient in crisis after a decision for his/her expulsion has been pronounced. Far from listing recommandations, we wish above all to question the transferential and countertransferential repercussions in a situation where an administrative decision is imposed on patient and on therapist.
