On the occasion of the 500th issue of the Bulletin de psychologie, are presented a number of interviews, witnesses and portraits of some of those who had a share in the launching of the journal and its growth (from 1947 to 1957). In this post-war period, the students’ position was, at one and the same time, new and strange. The bachelor’s degree in psychology had just been founded; some students had already a living, several being in charge of courses. Some had been members of the World War Resistance groups. All of them express the ardour, if not the enthusiasm, which presided over the destinies of this venture.
