Résumé
Galbraith developed an original theory of public services is described in this paper and then analyzed and compared to other theories. In the present context, which is characterized by an influential discourse against State intervention, it is suggested that Galbraith’s arguments are outdated, though they remain useful to the neoliberal opponents.
