Résumé
The theories of male domination put forward within the framework of feminist anthropology, which has itself become a branch of gender studies, have a number of epistemological flaws due to the mixture of descriptive and normative approaches. The aim of this article is both to analyze these shortcomings and to show that there are other theoretical approaches to the phenomena in question.
