Cet article publié dans la revue Déviance et société (1978) rappelle qu'en 1968 est né le Syndicat de la Magistrature, issu en partie du phénomène de concentration des jeunes magistrats pendant le temps de leur formation. Il en évoque les points forts : la dimension collective du syndicalisme (en opposition avec la culture hiérarchique), la relation avec les syndicats « frères », la définition d'une « légalité quotidienne » à partir d'un certain humanisme et la reconnaissance juridique du syndicat par le Conseil d'État.

This article published in the journal Déviance et société (1978) discusses how the Syndicat de la Magistrature (Trade Union of the Judiciary) was founded in 1968, partly as a result of the phenomenon of concentrating young judges together during their training. It deals with the union's strengths : the collective dimension of trade unionism (as opposed to hierarchical culture), relations with " fellow " unions, the defining of the notion of " everyday legality ", based on a certain form of humanism, and the legal recognition of the Union by the Council of State.
