Raphaël Nieuwjaer, « Clint Eastwood or the possibility of a miracle », Études, ID : 10670/1.8pv1f6
The oldest active Hollywood filmmaker, Clint Eastwood, born in 1930, is also the most productive storyteller of American memory, of its legends as well as its more ordinary lives, haunted by the question of the transmission of heritage and the possibility of salvation. This text offers a journey through some of the eight films made over the last decade marked by the political and psychological aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, from J. Edgar (2011) to Cry Macho (2021).
