Résumé 0

This article aims to provide a better understanding of the issues related to the acceptance of e-learning systems by students of private higher education institutions. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model of Venkatesh, Morris, Davis and Davis was used by us to determine the strength of predictors of students’ intention to accept and use e-learning systems. Our research has shown that effort expectancy and social influence are two variables whose effect does not significantly influence the behavioral intention of students to use e-learning systems. The results further demonstrate that behavioral intention negatively influences usage behavior.
