Résumé 0

As part of the review of Réseaux for its 30th anniversary, this article studies the theme of culture and media audiences. The reception and uses of culture have been one of the journal’s main areas of critical interest, even though the different objects of the media-cultural landscape have been addressed with varying degrees of intensity. As shown in this article, in the pre-digital system, the focus was mainly on television, with a number of “go-betweens” contributing to the spread, in France, of a theoretical corpus reviving the popular culture approach. But with the digital turn, the reconfiguration of the system of tastes became central, with digimorphosis in particular drawing attention to practices such as video games and music.
