Résumé
The article describes the emergence, within French society, of a post-colonial identity tendency which encourages activist practices based on ethnic differentiation hostile to a universalism assimilated to Western imperialism. In light of the repeated violent attacks against Charlie Hebdo, it also questions the ambivalence of part of the anti-universalist left which has adopted a lenient attitude towards this tendency, in particular towards indigenist and Islamist activists despite their opposition to emancipatory republican values.
