"Leaving from a conception of the democracy like conflict, through which thespaces of public participation are enlarged and therefore of the citizens, thepolitical transition is analyzed experienced in Venezuela, particularly of Julyelectoral process 2000 that I mean the definitive construction of a new orderin the political system. The confrontation of July of 2000 was determinedby the fracture in the unit around Chávez and the emergence of a newopposition around Francisco Arias Cárdenas, one of the excomandantes ofthe intent suddenly of state of February 4 1992. You concludes that startingfrom August of 2000 he consolidates the political leadership of Chávez anda new form of conceiving the democracy in Venezuela."
