Questionner le regard de la mère ou le regard porté sur elle pour le transformer et détourner en même temps les yeux de l’horreur que sa vision produit parfois; c’est l’étape préliminaire à une fantasmatisation de la jouissance comme transmission de la féminité entre mères et filles. S’inspirant du concept d’apatride, F. Perrier a forgé le terme «amatride», concept qui introduit et dessine une théorie inédite de la relation entre mère et fille. Danièle Brun en livre ici le commentaire et l’éclaire de nombreux exemples empruntés à la littérature ainsi qu’à sa pratique.

Motherless Questioning the way in which a mother sees her daughter or a daughter her mother, in an aim to transforming that vision and turning a blind eye to the horror it produces, is a preliminary stage in the fantasising of jouissance as the transmission of femininity between mothers and daughters. F. Perrier looks at the notion of statelessness, people without a ‘fatherland’, and goes on to invent the notion of the ‘motherless,’ and with it a highly original theory on the relationship between mothers and daughters. The author of this article explores F. Perrier’s ideas and illustrates them with a number of examples taken from literature and her own clinical practice.
