Résumé
In order to build a synthetic indicator to make a non-financial assessment of firms, we propose to adapt the approach of the Human Development Index of the United Nations. The Human Development of Firms Index (HDFI) built here includes three dimensions, which reflect the standard of living, health, and skill level of employees. A test of this indicator was conducted between 2014 and 2016 on the firms of the CAC 40 index and shows their strengths and weaknesses.
