Résumé
Prison law has recently seen the implementation of the principle “silence implies consent” in its legal framework. Considering the exceptions to this principle and the obstacles to its effectiveness, the opposing silence of the prison administration to detainees’ demands does not necessarily give rise to a satisfactory answer. Nevertheless, to some extent, the combination of this principle with specific dispositions from the code of relations between the public and the administration could strengthen their rights.
