Jordan has always been able to cope with the contradictions that are generated by its pro-Western strategic and political choices. Nevertheless, President Donald Trump’s determination to sort out the Israeli-Palestinian conflict adds to Jordan’s challenges, bearing in mind that the majority of the Jordanian population is of Palestinian origin. The question now is whether and how the King of Jordan will be able to overcome these obstacles?
