Résumé
Domestic violence situations are increasingly perceptible in societal and political areas. They also show up in the intimacy of the therapeutic setting. The sketch of a model for understanding violence in the couple, based on family analytical theory, leads us to formulate the hypothesis of a “cursed unconscious imprint,” a transgenerational venom running through the psychic envelope that contains the partners. This phenomenon wears away the couple’s capacity for reverie (“couple unreverie”).
