Résumé 0

This article discusses an evaluation of the effectiveness of Gestalt Therapy and presents the process. A consensus has emerged within the gestalt community to define what is specific to GT through a “fidelity scale” to clarify the characteristics of its approach. A first version of the fidelity scale (GTFS) will be submitted to a pilot study, then validation studies will be conducted in various countries, using real-life situation videos. It is thus through a series of the different stages of examination/analysis/response that this study proceeds. The validation scale seems to have the support of the various national groups and they gain from it a better understanding of their practice. The GTFS allows a better perception of the specific characteristics of this therapeutic approach, thus demonstrating its usefulness in clinical practice and training in Gestalt Therapy.
