This comprehensive review explores the multifaceted role of music in sports performance psychological well-being. The study synthesizes current research on music's impact across various domains, including athletic performance enhancement, arousal regulation, motivation, resilience, and selfmanagement skills. Drawing from many empirical studies, this paper examines the theoretical underpinnings of music's influence on physical and psychological processes in sports contexts. Key findings underscore the significant potential of music-based interventions to positively affect fac-tors such as perceived exertion, arousal levels, emotional states, and overall performance outcomes. The review also investigates the differential effects of music tempo, familiarity, and personal preference on athletic performance and psychological responses. Furthermore, it delves into the application of music as a management tool for enhancing resilience, motivation, and self-regulation among athletes. This research contributes to the growing knowledge of music's utility in sports psychology and performance management, offering insights for practitioners, coaches, and athletes. The findings suggest that strategically implemented music-based interventions can be a reassuringly cost-effective and accessible means to optimize athletic performance and promote psychological well-being in sports settings.
