From Lebanese villages to the Arab Gulf countries, with their opportunities and wealth, travelled entrepreneurs, masons, locksmiths, metal workers, and others, who never forgot their homeland, whatever the success of their migration. Their migratory trajectories and networks are studied here, as well as their relations with the local intermediaries and with the other workers, often imported from other countries of the world, to supply construction sites and factories in the oil rich countries.
